My room was large and fairly quiet overlooking the forest. Its location was beautiful very close to Grainau village centre.

Location: the hotel was just off restaurants, shop, train station and Eibsee and Zugspitze. Had lunch/dinner at Bistro Chapeau Claque, which I found a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

All was perfect!

It was a good old hotel in an outstanding area, next to the most beautiful lakes, the cute city center, restaurants, the train station and busses as well as Garmisch and other attractions by car and the mountains for skiing or hiking in the summer...

the rooms are extremely spacious with good beds. the large bathroom is absolutely the best. great service, the breakfast is good.

This hotel is fantastic, with an amazing view of the mountains from your room. The rooms are clean and comfortable with attention to detail. The location is also great, directly across from the mountains and near the bus stop which takes you to the Zugspitze cable car. The staff provides excellent service and breakfast.

The staff is friendly and helpful, always making sure guests are taken care of. Breakfast is tasty and a good start to the day.

All was fine, nothing to complain about.

Having central heating, a safe box, and TV set in my exceptionally comfortable room was really GREAT. The breakfast was satisfactory with a wide array of choice.

The location is also ideal, as it is situated directly across from the mountains and very close to the bus stop, making it convenient for guests to explore the surrounding areas.

One aspect that could be improved upon is the noise from the local road during the day.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel staff spoke good English and gave us helpful information about nearby transportation options. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, and the hotel facilities were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of delicious food options to choose from.

Nothing not to love.

The location across from the beautiful mountains was impressive, and the bus stop was very close to the hotel. The view nearby the hotel was breathtaking; you could see the Zugspitze cable car from the rooms. Many restaurants were near that bus stop. The room was clean, but it was too small for a big group. Breakfast had only a few varieties which was not enough for us.

There were no amenities provided by the hotel, and the staff's attitude was quite cold.

We had a great city trip and enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. The owner was very welcoming and spoke English fluently which was a bonus. The room was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the mountains from the balcony. We also received a tourist card that gave us free use of the local bus and train services. This helped us explore the area easily and saved us some money on transportation costs.

There were no major negative aspects during our stay. However, a kettle in the room for making coffee or tea would have been appreciated.

The view was breathtaking, nothing like I’ve ever seen before. The hotel’s location was ideal since it was close to several restaurants and the bus station. The staff spoke English and were always eager to help. Breakfast was included and it was a nice touch.

The beds were uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. The lack of sound insulation made it difficult to sleep at night as we could hear the sounds of other guests and street noise.
